Areas of Bowfishing Expertise
I enjoy Super-Tuning hunting bows and Bowfishing bows are no different from hunting bows in the fact they need to be tuned to perfection to perform as expected.  Utilizing RPM products I build, equip and tune Bowfishing bows to the same level of performance I expect from hunting bows.
Favorite Method of Bowfishing
Trolling the clear water banks and coves of SW Missouri and NW Arkansas lakes late at night and into the early morning hours.  Bowfishing quiet on LED lights keeps me at peace with myself and with nature.
Credentials and Awards
A lifetime outdoorsman.
2014 Bass Pro Bowfishing US Open Top Shot Champion
Best Attribute
I am a people person and I enjoy helping people (young or old) in getting started in Bowfishing as I feel it is beneficial to the sport and to the environment.
Up Close and Personal
I am 51 years old and was born and raised in SW Missouri in a simpler time when a 12 year old could grab a gun or rod and reel and go on his own which I did almost every day a season was open.  At 14 I was introduced to bow hunting by an uncle and at 21 it became an obsession.  At 48 I was given a guided Bowfishing trip as a gift from my lovely wife (which she may regret now) and I immediately realized my passion for hunting and fishing was fulfilled by this one new found sport.  5 days later I owned a new Bowfishing bow and 2 weeks later a boat that was converted for Bowfishing.  The obsession I experienced at 12 and at 21 was renewed at 48 and I can’t get enough.  My Goals for 2015 are to represent RPM as an industry leader in Bowfishing innovations, attend as many tournaments as possible and to introduce as many kids and adults to the sport of Bowfishing as I can through positive leadership.

I was born in Hickory, North Carolina and  moved to Chapin, South Carolina around the age of four. I have always loved to be outdoors, especially when hunting and fishing with my dad. He taught me most  of what I know  about hunting and fishing. Now I have the opportunity to teach my dad about bowfishing. I got into the sport of bowfishing after seeing a few videos of it on Youtube. My buddies and I went out and bought some 500 watt work lights and ams retrievers and off we went. After that very first night ,we were addicted. My two favorite things about being an outdoorsman would be getting to witness God’s great creations and being blessed enough to spend time doing what I love with friends and family.

Greg was born and raised in Wears Valley Tennessee trout fishing in the nearby Great Smokey Mountains National Park and the other numerous streams around his hometown . As a teenager he began archery hunting for turkey and whitetail deer. It wasn't until his late 20s when he saw his buffalo spawn in one of his favorite trout streams that he decided to try bowfishing and was immediately hooked. Even after buying a boat he still prefers to stalk the banks of the streams and rivers around his hometown. Greg has been a paramedic for the Sevier County Ambulance Service for 10 years and has worked part time for the Gatlinburg Fire Department for the past 8 years.  Greg has been married to his wife Kristin for 5 years and loves nothing more than when they have a chance to hunt or fish together. They have a 2 year old son named Steven who loves to tag along and watch daddy fish. Greg is counting the days until Steven can shoot a bow.  As a member of the RPM pro-staff Greg loves educating as many people possible about the fun and positive environmental impact of the sport of bowfishing.

Up Close and Personal
My name is Dave and I am 35. Married with 3 kids. I got hooked on bowfishing pretty much the first time I went out from shore with a spool duct taped to an old recurve, but never really went much. Finally I organized a group of us to go on a guided night trip, and that was it, within two weeks I bought my first fully rigged boat. Since then there have been many equipment upgrades, and late nights on the water with friends, family, and people I barely know. Some of the best memories are the smiles on kids faces when they take their first shot, and the huge grins when they land their first fish.

Finish in the top spots in the tournaments I fish in, and just enjoy the great outdoors. May you water be clear and you arrow be dancing!

Growing up in Northern Utah, Kelton has always had a huge interest in the outdoors.  Getting carried into the field by his dad, that 3 year old trip sparked a fire that burns as strong as an outdoorsman could feel.  At 7 he entered the field with a loaded shotgun and it’s been downhill from there. Getting  into the field and sharing that with friends and family is a huge part of his life.  That carrying into conservation and the thrill and challenge of chasing fish with a stick and string only makes sense.  He loves the pursuit and finding areas to bowfish with his friends. Learning from others, using,  and sharing that knowledge makes him a huge asset to the future of the RPM team.

It’s definitely become an obsession as he realized his passion for hunting and fishing is fulfilled by this combined sport. He likes introducing new people to the sport through constructive guidance and enjoys when they shoot their first fish. If he’s not preoccupied, you’ll find Shawn in the woods or on the water.

Best Attribute
“Good ole Boy” nature. Honest, humble, extremely approachable, always helpful and a true willingness to share anything he has.
Up Close and Personal
Rob is 44 years old, married to a loving wife, Tracy, and father to his 12 year old son, Hayden.  Rob was born and raised in southwest Idaho on a small farm where he was destined to grow up with a love for the outdoors and all that it offers. Being fortunate to have a father who loved to hunt and fish along with growing up fishing the Boise River that bordered the property and hunting ducks, and trapping muskrats on the ditches that ran through the property all contributed to a passion for hunting and fishing that still burns deep within him. Idaho has a lot to offer a young outdoorsman, and he took advantage of all it had. Rob later began a nine year rodeo career riding bareback horses when he was a high school junior that would eventually earn him a collegiate scholarship followed by several years of traveling the country from one rodeo to another, all the while missing that which he loved the most, time spent hunting and fishing w/ friends and family. When Rob finally decided to hang up his spurs for good, there was now another void in his life to be filled. The competition and camaraderie that came with rodeo life was soon replaced with tournament bowfishing. Bowfishing took center stage in his life for nearly a decade, and the experience he gained in that time played an integral part in the research and development of many of RPM’s products. Although Rob still participates in several tournaments each year, the need for competition has subsided to a certain degree, and simply spending time on the water with his family brings him the most joy.

Areas of Bowfishing Expertise
I enjoy rebuilding old Oneida bows and bringing them back to new. I also love to innovate and build new things for bowfishing, from welding something for the boat to building arrows if I can build it I will.
Favorite Method of Bowfishing
I love fishing at night,  I like to cover a lot of ground and do what I call is bump and run, hitting good spots and then moving to the next spot. Having a kicker boat allows me to cover a lot of ground in a short amount of time
Credentials and Awards
A lifetime outdoorsman and conservationist
No major bowfishing awards yet but 2015 will hopefully be a big year.
Best Attribute
I love to have a good time and make people laugh. I enjoy  introducing new people to the sport, young or old it’s fun to get people out and see them shoot there first fish or do something they have ever tried.
Up Close and Personal
I was born and raised in River Falls Wi, I’m 38 years old with a son Gavin son who’s six, Daughter Addison age two and a beautiful wife Erin who allows me to pursue my passion of bowfishing as much as possible.  I’m a Quality Data Analyst for a large Health Care System,  I also run a 330 acre Cash Crop farm, growing corn and soybeans; although those priorities along with my family keep me busy, Night bowfishing is something that has really worked well with my schedule, you have to struggle though the next day but it’s worth it.  I started bowfishing about 18 years ago when a college friend introduced me to it, I recall using my hunting bow, an open face spincaster with Mono and spending much of the day retrieving lost arrows, never the less I was hooked.  I think being frustrated with that equipment always led me to seek out better and more innovative solutions for bowfishing .  Over the last few years my passion for the sport has only grown exponentially, I recently purchased an 1872 custom boat specifically built for bowfishing, and I spend as much time on the water as my life will allow. I try to buy the best equipment I can, as bowfishing is my relaxation and having quality equipment makes it less stressful not more, that’s why I use RPM equipment, built tough and tested.  My goals for the coming year are to set up our own local bowfishing tournament as well as attend as many tournaments as possible.

Credentials and Awards

Up Close and Personal
I am 25 years old and have been hunting and fishing with my dad since the age of 7. Chasing waterfowl and fishing has always been a passion of mine and something that continues to grow on me as I get older. I began bowfishing at the age of 14 and quickly realized that growing up in East Texas is a bowfishing paradise. That first year we spent the entire summer trolling up and down the river shooting needle nose and buffalo and spending countless hours in a deep hole in the hundred degree heat waiting on that perfect shot at an alligator gar. Working on Airboats has also been something that truly enjoy, whether it be tuning the engine over the winter or changing the light setup and adding some aluminum work. Over the last 4 years I have been fortunate to take a ton of people bowfishing in Texas and Louisiana and continue to make friends and build relationships every day on the water. The reactions of someone that has never been bowfishing and they boat their first alligator gar, buffalo or redfish is the most rewarding of all.

Up Close and Personal
I am 28 years old and currently stationed in Norfolk, VA. I have a fantastic wife that loves the sport almost as much as me. I spent a majority of my life in Omaha, NE but can't name many states I haven’t been to. With a love for the outdoors bowfishing was an instant addiction. My wife and I spend our spring and summers bowfishing anytime and anywhere we can. Once the weather is cold and hunting season sets in my other addiction (waterfowl) takes over. Been in the Navy for 10 years now and have really enjoyed getting the opportunity to move around and hunt and fish in a variety of places. One of my favorite things about bowfishing is regardless of how many fish you get, its almost impossible not to have a great time out with family and friends.

Since that day Kyle has loved introducing newcomers to the sport. He works with the

the safe ways to participate. Kyle’s happiest times are when he takes a newcomer out and
they stick their first fish. There is a look of pure joy that reminds him why he loves the

Area of Expertise
I enjoy building and rebuilding my boat until it is as efficient as possible. In my opinion the more efficient the rig is the better it will perform on the water and that leads to more fish in the boat.
Favorite Method
I enjoy trolling the banks of the lakes on a beautiful Mid Missouri summer night
Best Attribute
I am very easy to talk to and enjoy teaching people about bowfishing and introducing new people to the sport. There is nothing better than seeing someone new get there first fish in the boat.
Up Close and Personal
I am a 26 year old father of two of the greatest kids a guy could ask for. I was born and raised in Mid Missouri. Originally I was a automotive technician before I got into the delivery business. I moved to Orlando Florida right after high school and stayed there for three years. While I was there I attended Marine Mechanics Institute. Oddly enough I did nothing that involved the outdoors while I was down there. I sure missed out on some great opportunities! But once I returned to Missouri it was full on outdoors. My main passions are bowfishing and deer hunting but I also enjoy hunting for delicious Morel Mushrooms, calling coyotes, hunting turkeys, fishing, camping, and canoeing some of Missouris pristine waterways. I look forward to representing RPM in 2015 and in the future.

Up Close
I grew up in utah. Was lucky enough to have 45 acres to troll around on. When my pellet gun wasn't in my hands, I had an old bear bow I would chase the local wildlife with. Around 14 years old I was introduced to Bowfishing. Started shooting fish in the summer and chasing waterfowl In the winter. My best friend and I started shooting some local tournaments, then moved up to traveling the western United States. I've done everything from Bowfishing in Texas, to water fowling the pacific and the Atlantic. I feel very blessed to have the people in my life that I do. I started with RPM from the beginning and know the sacrifices it takes, and the sacrifices it took to make RPM what it is today. I am passionate about this company and the people in it.

Jimmy is currently 22 years old and looking to become a Police Officer.  A few years back a friend invited him bowfishing.  He had a spare hunting bow and bought an arrow, reel and a rest, nothing too fancy.  He ended up having a blast and could not wait to go again.  He upgraded equipment and started going more and more.  It became just so much fun.  He was raised hunting and fishing, mostly Waterfowl which was the number one passion for as long as he can remember, but now bowfishing is right up there as a favorite thing to do.  He doesn’t live far from two great rivers which include the IL and the Des Plains, that is where you mostly will see him.  He started doing tournaments with a team, and really enjoys traveling to different places to shoot.  He just loves to be on the water it does not matter what he is chasing.  He also loves just talking bowfishing with people, not a lot of people know what this sport is and it is very cool to inform them of something new. He is really looking forward to help promote the great products RPM has to offer for this year on the waters.

Rockbottom bowfishing is a group of friends that enjoy the outdoors.  We do just about every type of hunting-Whitetail, turkey, small game, upland, bowfishingfor fish and gators.  All

year long we are thinking about ways to improve our boats and finding new waters to fish.  Throughout the season we fish recreationally as well as travel the east coast attending
tournaments.  We enter in carp/catfish, snakehead/gar, as well as stingray tournaments.  We have a booth at the NJ Fish and Game expo each year.  WE are there to promote the
sport and RPM products!  We are very proud to represent such an innovative company again this year!

Robstarted bowfishing in 2004 after a buddy got him hooked going out day shooting in a 12 foot flat bottom with nothing but a small trolling motor and a hand wrap reel. Since those humble beginnings his love for the sport has grown into owning his own rig, multiple bows, organizing tournaments, and getting all of his family and friends involved. He is very passionate about the sport and does his best to paint it in a good light.

Stephen is 28 years old and married to his high school sweetheart, Ashlee.  He has a son, Jase, who is almost 2 years old.  He’s excited to watch Jase succeed and love the outdoors as much as he does.  Stephen was born and raised in Northern Utah.  With the Great Salt Lake in his backyard and the Wasatch Mountains at his doorstep, it was easy to see why he found his passion for the outdoors at an early age and has never looked back. At 20 years old, Stephen joined the U.S Army and served as a 12B, Combat Engineer, in the US Army Reserves for 8 years.  He was stationed in Ogden, Utah and served in OEF Afghanistan during 2010-2011.  Soon after his return from Afghanistan, he picked up bowfishing again as a way to decompress and enjoy life again.  He competes in tournaments and loves all the adrenaline and excitement that comes with it. When he’s not at work, he spends much of his time with his family and enjoying the great outdoors and all it offers.  He is thrilled to be involved with such a great company and watch others enjoy the products as much as he does!

Areas of Bowfishing Expertise
I don’t consider myself an expert at anything but I have been fortunate to do some very neat things and a whole lot of those things the wrong way. I like to share my knowledge to help somebody else from making the same mistakes. We shoot a lot of cold, deep crystal clear water, where the fish seem to be “thicker scaled” (some have joked about California Armored Carp).  Equipment and techniques we use seem to differ from a lot of other places. We generally shoot higher poundage bows, and specialized arrows, as examples. The majority of our tournaments are during the day where elevated platforms are best suited because of glare off the water.  My favorite deck design developed here in California is a deck that folds down, when not in use.
Favorite Method of Bowfishing
I come from a long line of hardcore outdoorsmen, and have been privileged to have hunted and trapped professionally for many years.  I'm also a professional big game guide and Houndsman.  I shot in my first bowfishing tournament in 1986, and even though my travels and work sometimes don't allow for me to bowfish as much as I would like, my #1 favorite sport has always been “stickin fish”.
Best Attribute
I love to share information and continue to learn.  The best way to preserve our sport is to reach out to new enthusiasts and educate them why what we do is beneficial and the right way to present ourselves to the public.
Up Close and Personal
Cody is married to his wonderful wife, April, and has two incredible daughters who are future top notch bowfishers.  With family and work, he is not always able to hit the tournament circuit like he would like but he hits a few a year.  If you're out the California way look him up!

I would not say I'm an expert at anything to do with bowfishing. I do like coming up with new or different ways to find and kill big fish.

I guess my favorite method is when fish are dying. I love trolling table rocks in clear water, daytime Grass Carp on Truman and floating Buffs on Pomme.

I am 31 years old and grew up in Kaysville Utah. I am married with a 7 year old son and a 10 year old daughter who have very busy schedules with their competition sports.  Even with their crazy schedules they still love being outdoors and even enjoy going bowfishing with me and my husband. I have only been bowfishing for 2 years now but loved it since the first time I drew my bow back. I grew up on the water fishing with my dad and that holds some of the most memorable moments for me.  My goal is to bring more women and kids into this sport so that they can make the same kind of memories.  I would love to get more kids into the outdoors instead of sitting inside.

Bowfishing has become a passion for Len.  From scouting and participating in tournaments, to sharing this sport with others, he loves all aspects of it.  Len never misses a chance to be on the water looking for that big fish.
